Derby’s biggest & best amateur boxing club.
Founded in 1998 by Boxer Clifton Mitchell, it was formed after many years of experience in Boxing, as an opportunity to give something back to the community and pass on those skills and techniques to youngsters & adults who showed an interest in the sport.
“It’s all about discipline, hard work and belonging”
Clifton Mitchell
Already the Amateur Boxing Club has nurtured champions; Sue Ennersley has won two ABA’s already, Sandy Ryan won Silver for England in the European Juniors a Zaihid Maqsood winning a National title.
The training and and rewards that you can achieve, is ultimately dependant on how much you want to put in, but there’s always a qualified Amateur Coach on hand to offer advice and support.
